Time for Coachella

It's Coachella weekend.  I'm really looking forward to seeing so many of the bands and DJs.  I can't wait to see some of my idols like Danny Tenaglia, Prince and Kraftwerk.  There's also Mark Ronson, Sia, Cafe Tacvba and many, many others.  I was bummed I had to miss the KCRW Sessions concert with Sia last night because of my on air shift, but I was lucky enough to get invited to Portishead's rehearsal performance at the Mayan.  Big ups to Jessica at Spectre for hooking it up!!  You rock girl and you'll be missed.  She's leaving us and headed to the big apple!  I was so excited that Portishead played early last night.  It gave me plenty of time to get to the station after the gig.  It was great to see them so relaxed and not really worried about anything else except the music.  If you're a fan of Portishead, as I am, you will not be disappointed by their set on Saturday night!  I was blown away, and that was just practice!  If you're heading out there don't forget the sun block and drink plenty of water!  It's gonna be a hot one.....
